Another Great Community Event - P&C Market

Fresh off the heels of last night's [[http://audreyandjon.com/blog/20091025/literary-feast|community dinner]], tonight we went to a neighborhood roast pig / pot luck dinner at [[http://www.facebook.com/pages/Washington-DC/PC-Market/164589065004|P&C Market]].

It was really amazing! I'd estimate about 200 people showed up over the course of the evening, most of whom brought side dishes, desserts, and drinks to share (we brought my famous [[http://audreyandjon.com/recipes/audreys-cole-slaw|cole slaw]] and the last of Jon's [[http://audreyandjon.com/blog/20090920/end-summer-brew-boysenberry-wheat-ale|Boysenberry Wheat Ale]]). Add that to the pig - literally roasted in a big roasting box - and fun was had by all.

Again, its really great to live in a part of DC that has a sense of community. We're slowly discovering our neighbors and other Hill folk through events such as this. Thanks P&C for a great evening.
